Mixed Closing for Major Wall Street Indices

The main indices on Wall Street closed on a mixed note at the end of Monday's trading session. The S and P 500 index rose by 4.5 points, or 0.08 percent, to reach 5,463.6 points. The Nasdaq Composite index gained 12.32 points, or 0.07 percent, to settle at 17,370.20 points.
