Abu dhabi: Modon has awarded the main construction contract for two of its residential developments on Hudayriyat Island: Nawayef East and Nawayef West. With a total value of AED5 billion, the contract is the largest awarded for residential projects in Abu Dhabi in 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, the contract encompasses the construction of 735 luxury villas, highlighting Modon's dedication to delivering projects that meet global standards. These homes will be uniquely positioned on the world's largest man-made hills, with elevations reaching 45 and 55 metres-a first for residential developments in the region.
The villas will vary in size from 350 to 2,700 square metres, offering interiors with 3 to 8 bedrooms. Residents will have access to a wide array of amenities, including sports facilities, retail outlets, caf©s, and premium dining venues.
Hudayriyat Island will also feature a 220-kilometre cycling network, providing seamless connectivity throughout the area.
