MoFA and Sharjah Private Education Authority Launch Integrated Certificate Attestation Service

Sharjah: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) have announced the launch of an integrated service for issuing and attesting academic certificates through the 'Dalil' platform.

According to Emirates News Agency, this electronic integration marks a significant advancement in digital collaboration among government entities, showcasing a model of joint cooperation that emphasizes accuracy and reliability in data exchange. The initiative aligns with the second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme, aimed at simplifying procedures to provide a proactive service experience, ultimately saving time and effort for users and improving customer satisfaction.

Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, MoFA Undersecretary, highlighted that the integration reflects the UAE Government's vision of a unified, people-centric digital government ecosystem. This initiative supports the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme by streamlining academic certificate issuance and attestation, enabling parents to complete transactions efficiently.

Ali Al Hosani, Director-General of the SPEA, commented on the effective integration between SPEA and MoFA, which has unified academic certificate attestation procedures into a single digital platform. This advancement significantly reduces time and effort for parents, aligning with the UAE's digital transformation agenda.

The service mirrors MoFA's dedication to developing proactive digital services that enhance customer experience across government services. It aligns with SPEA's mission to build a comprehensive digital education ecosystem, adhering to international best practices in government operations.

This service allows parents and students to electronically issue and attest academic certificates through a unified digital window, streamlining the process into a single transaction. The integration facilitates issuing certificates via SPEA and obtaining necessary attestations from MoFA and the UAE mission in the destination country without accessing multiple platforms.

Delivered through 'Dalil', a centralised student services platform, the service eliminates the need for multiple platform access, significantly reducing time, effort, and cost. The completion time is now reduced to just three minutes, compared to the previous six working days required for processing both inside and outside the UAE.
