MoFA Announces Resumption of Travel for UAE Nationals to Lebanon Effective June 29, 2026

Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has declared that, beginning Monday, June 29, 2026, UAE nationals will be allowed to travel to the Lebanese Republic. This announcement marks a significant development in travel regulations for UAE citizens.

According to Emirates News Agency, MoFA has outlined specific procedures that must be adhered to by travelers. Prior to their journey, UAE nationals are required to register with the Twajudi service. This registration is mandatory, and travelers will not be able to leave the UAE through its ports if they have not completed this process. Non-compliance with this requirement may lead to the suspension of travel and potential legal consequences.

UAE citizens traveling to Lebanon are expected to submit all necessary Twajudi information, which includes details about their residence in Lebanon and emergency contact information. Furthermore, upon returning to the UAE, travelers must notify the Ministry through the Twajudi service and update their information if any changes occur. In case of emergencies while abroad, UAE nationals are advised to contact the Ministry via the emergency hotline at +971 80024 to receive prompt assistance.
