Dubai: Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), the aerospace platform of Dubai South focused on advancing the aviation industry, has announced the launch of its Light Industrial and Maintenance Complex. This move underscores its commitment to addressing the increasing demand within the sector.
According to Emirates News Agency, the complex spans 24,900 square meters and consists of 33 purpose-built units designed to support a variety of aviation-related activities. The facility features modern, scalable spaces tailored for businesses aiming for operational efficiency, with flexible configurations allowing units to be combined to meet changing operational requirements.
Situated within the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, this development aims to support aviation and aerologistics operators within Dubai South's integrated ecosystem. The Light Industrial and Maintenance Complex is scheduled for completion by the third quarter of 2027.
"This launch reflects our commitment to supporting the aviation and aerospace supply chain sectors," stated Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub. He emphasized ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure that not only meets current market demand but also anticipates future industry needs, enabling businesses to scale effectively within a fully integrated ecosystem. Saif further highlighted that these efforts are aligned with the vision of Dubai's leadership to strengthen the city's position as a global aviation capital.
MBRAH is positioned as a free-zone destination offering global aerospace players high-level connectivity and is a preferred location for the world's leading airlines, private jet companies, MROs, and associated industries.
