Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award to Honour Winners on 22 October

Dubai: The Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, a part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and organized by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library (MBRL), has set the date to honor the winners of its ninth edition. The ceremony is scheduled for 22 October and will occur alongside the 11th International Arabic Language Conference at the M¶venpick Grand Al Bustan in Dubai from 22-24 October.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Award organizers emphasized that holding the ceremony during a significant cultural event highlights their dedication to celebrating accomplishments that enhance the Arabic language's role in education, technology, media, culture, and society.

Bilal Al Budoor, Secretary General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Arabic Language Award, stated that the Award embodies a strategic vision to place Arabic at the forefront of development and innovation. It serves as both a symbol of cultural identity and a means to build an Arab knowledge economy. By recognizing excellence globally, the initiative reaffirms its commitment to the language's future and to fostering partnerships that expand its international presence.

Al Budoor further mentioned that the Award aims to support the UAE and the region's development by backing impactful initiatives and honoring pioneering contributions. This effort aligns with the leadership's vision and strengthens Dubai and the UAE's position as a center for promoting the Arabic language and integrating it into education, technology, media, and knowledge.

The ninth edition has seen significant participation from individuals and organizations worldwide, who submitted initiatives and projects that have a lasting impact on Arabic language learning and its application in modern contexts. The judging panels have completed their evaluations, adhering to the highest standards of fairness and transparency.

The Award encourages all who have an interest in the Arabic language to attend the conference and participate in the awards ceremony, which will host delegates from over 80 countries.
