Mohammed bin Rashid Attends Final Day of UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, attended the final day of the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025, held in the capital from 4-6 November. The event convened over 500 government officials and introduced significant projects and initiatives aimed at transforming the UAE's economic and social landscape.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meetings featured more than 40 sessions focusing on key national priority areas. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized the importance of unity, stating that the gatherings are marked by shared visions and goals. He reiterated the nation's commitment to the principles laid out by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on development, human well-being, and strengthening the UAE's global stature.

During the meetings, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum highlighted the government's focus on people-centric policies and the importance of building a unified national team. He emphasized the values of dialogue, transparency, and accountability as pillars of government work, aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the UAE's citizens.

The meetings marked a new chapter in the UAE's pursuit of prosperity and sustainable development. Key projects launched included the 'National Family Growth Agenda 2031' and the 'Emirati National Identity Strategy', focusing on reinforcing family values and national identity.

The UAE Government also introduced the 'Unified UAE Numbers', an AI-powered platform for data and statistics to support informed decision-making. The event recognized the efforts of 'Union Teams' and celebrated winners of the UAE Order for Culture and Creativity and the UAE AI Award.

A meeting of the Ministerial Development Council, chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, saw the launch of the 'UAE Experts in Artificial Intelligence Programme', aimed at developing AI specialists. National readiness was further bolstered through a multi-sector tabletop exercise simulating complex emergencies.

The event featured discussions showcasing Fujairah's development journey and brought together economic leaders for the Economic Data Retreat. Other initiatives included the Water Acceleration Programme, preparing for the 2026 UN Water Conference, and the UAE Government and Business Dialogue for Action, linking business innovation with government priorities.

A significant announcement was made by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, unveiling a AED 170 billion transport project package set for completion by 2030. The AI Readiness Index was also introduced to assess federal entities' preparedness for AI leadership.

The UAE Government Annual Meetings, initiated in 2017, continue to serve as a platform for unifying national efforts and shaping the country's vision, involving leaders from all government sectors. This year's edition also saw the UAE International Press Conference, engaging over 200 media professionals from various outlets.
