Mohammed Bin Rashid Engages with Arab Finance Ministers at 10th Arab Fiscal Forum

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, met with Arab Ministers of Finance during the tenth Arab Fiscal Forum, held as part of the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai. The meeting saw the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed lauded the strong Arab representation at the summit, emphasizing the robust ties between the UAE and Arab nations. He highlighted the significance of the World Governments Summit as a platform for Arab leaders and financial decision-makers to forge common fiscal and economic strategies.

His Highness expressed his belief in the potential of Arab countries to tackle global economic hurdles through increased cooperation, unified endeavors, and the sharing of knowledge and experiences within the region.

The attending Arab Ministers of Finance acknowledged the UAE's successful organization of the World Governments Summit, recognizing it as a premier global platform for future-oriented discussions. They appreciated the UAE's efforts in fostering Arab economic collaboration, promoting joint actions to bolster financial and economic stability, and implementing innovative policies in response to swift global changes.

The tenth Arab Fiscal Forum, collaboratively organized by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the UAE Ministry of Finance, saw the participation of His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs. The forum focused on future fiscal policy design, addressing challenges, and exploring the role of technology and artificial intelligence in governance and enhancing public spending efficiency.

The World Governments Summit 2026 marks the most extensive leadership participation to date, with over 60 heads of state, government officials, and more than 500 ministers and representatives from over 150 countries. It also hosts global experts, with over 6,250 participants, and features more than 445 sessions with contributions from over 450 global leaders, including 87 Nobel laureates and representatives from over 80 international and regional organizations.
