Dubai: The Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum will commence on 23rd September at the Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, bringing together 1,000 leaders from government and private sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the forum, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD), aims to enhance leadership and management practices. It will serve as a platform for senior leaders, decision-makers, international experts, and academics to exchange ideas concerning Dubai's achievements, future ambitions, and strategic priorities.
The annual event embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to establish a world-class leadership ecosystem that anticipates the future, creates opportunities, and integrates an administrative approach centered on innovation, agility, and swift execution.
The forum's agenda will explore the future of government and institutional leadership amid rapid global transformations, focusing on the evolution of future cities, emerging economic opportunities, and the integration of modern technologies to develop efficient operating models.
A highlight of the forum will be the awarding of the 'Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Medal' to a selected Director-General. This accolade, the highest within the Government of Dubai, was introduced by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, to promote the development of government leaders and empower second-tier leadership.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of MBRCLD, emphasized that the forum represents a leadership model that prioritizes forward-thinking, continuous development, and investment in people. The program will include panel discussions, specialized workshops, and Strategic Leadership Majlis meetings, including sessions like the Future Economy Majlis and the New Global Narrative Majlis.
Additionally, MBRCLD will organize a session that brings together program alumni and government leaders to exchange leadership knowledge and experiences. The forum will also witness the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between MBRCLD and several global universities, aiming to launch leadership research and specialized studies documenting Dubai's transformation.
MBRCLD's mission to 'Create Leaders for Tomorrow' focuses on identifying, preparing, and developing Emirati leaders through specialized programs that enhance their ability to anticipate change, make effective decisions, and develop solutions to future challenges.
