Mohammed bin Rashid Tours World Governments Summit, Reviews Innovative Solutions at Government Pavilions

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, toured events and pavilions at the World Governments Summit 2026 on its preliminary day. The Summit, set to officially open on Tuesday under the theme 'Shaping Future Governments,' will run for three days, marking the largest participation of leaders in its history.

According to Emirates News Agency, His Highness was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai. During the visit, Sheikh Mohammed explored various government pavilions, reviewing projects and solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and advancing sustainable development.

Also present during the tour were H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit Organisation, and several ministers and senior officials. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the Summit's role as a global platform for designing proactive policies and transforming challenges into growth opportunities.

The World Governments Summit 2026 is hosting more than 60 heads of state, over 500 ministers, and representatives from more than 150 governments. The event includes participation from over 80 international and regional organizations, with over 700 chief executives from leading corporations, totaling more than 6,250 attendees.

The preliminary day featured high-level forums and ministerial meetings, such as the Arab Fiscal Forum, the Arab Young Leaders Meeting, and the Latin America and Caribbean Investment Forum. Discussions involved heads of state, senior officials, and global experts, reinforcing the Summit's role as a hub for shaping future-ready governments.
