Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, visited the fifth edition of World of Coffee Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The exhibition opened on 18th January and will run until 20th January 2026.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE National Olympic Committee. They toured several pavilions showcasing a wide range of exhibits. Helal Saeed Almarri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, provided insights into the scale and impact of the exhibition. Organised by DXB LIVE in collaboration with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), World of Coffee Dubai 2026 brings together over 2,100 exhibiting companies and brands from 78 countries, marking it as the largest edition since its inception.
The exhibition serves as a significant platform for the coffee industry, which is one of the world’s most widely traded products. It creates economic value and unites diverse industry stakeholders. An estimate from statista.com projects the global coffee sector’s revenue to reach approximately $495.70 billion by 2026. The event showcases various stages of the coffee value chain, including cultivation, production, distribution, and consumer markets, along with a variety of equipment used in coffee processing, roasting, and brewing.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed was also briefed by Khalid Al Hammadi, Senior Vice President of DXB LIVE, about the exhibition’s growth over five editions. Since its launch, the event has expanded significantly in scale and international participation, evolving from a regional platform to a globally recognized meeting point for the specialty coffee industry. The 2026 edition covers more than 20,000 square meters, driven by rising demand across the Middle East and North Africa.
World of Coffee Dubai 2026 highlights the increasing global interest in specialty coffee and positions Dubai as a hub connecting producing countries with international buyers and manufacturers. The exhibition features live coffee auctions, international championships, workshops, educational programs, and extensive trade and networking opportunities for industry professionals.
