Abu Dhabi:Mubadala Investment Company and Together AI have announced a strategic partnership to explore artificial intelligence infrastructure and ecosystem opportunities in the UAE.
According to Emirates News Agency, this collaboration will see Together AI establish a local presence in Abu Dhabi, enhancing its research capabilities and supporting regional AI application development. Mubadala and Together AI aim to identify opportunities that will support AI development and deployment in the UAE.
The partnership aligns with the Emirate's ambition to enhance its AI capabilities, positioning it as a global hub for innovation while deepening technical expertise. This follows Mubadala's participation in Together AI's Series C financing round with a $100 million investment.
Founded in 2022 and based in San Francisco, Together AI offers a comprehensive AI platform that assists developers in creating and operating applications using open-source models.
Mubadala's investment underscores its commitment to supporting the UAE's transition to a knowledge-based economy through technological advancement. Ali Eid AlMheiri from Mubadala emphasized the focus on attracting leading tech companies and fostering an innovative environment.
