Abu dhabi: The Muslim Council of Elders, under the leadership of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, has issued a strong condemnation of the recent terrorist drone attack on the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The attack resulted in material damage, though no injuries were reported.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Council firmly rejected the cowardly attacks on diplomatic missions, labeling them as violations of international norms and laws. The Council highlighted the dangerous escalation these attacks represent, threatening the security and stability of the region.
The Muslim Council of Elders also reiterated its condemnation of similar attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates and other Arab nations. It called on the international community to take responsibility, work towards ending the conflict, and prevent further regional and global unrest.
