National Guard Commander Holds Strategic Meeting with Bahraini Counterpart

Abu dhabi: Major General Saleh Mohammed bin Megren Al Ameri, Commander of the National Guard, received Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, Director of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with his delegation. The official visit to the UAE was aimed at strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise between the two nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the visit included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at the National Guard Command. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, including the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the development of training and qualification programs, and the advancement of institutional and operational capabilities.

During the visit, the Bahraini delegation was informed about the National Guard's missions, work systems, and its development programs. They were also briefed on the Guard's operational capabilities, resources, and the modern equipment and systems it employs.

The delegation witnessed a field demonstration that showcased the National Guard's equipment, vehicles, and devices, highlighting its advanced technical capabilities and high operational readiness. They were also informed about development initiatives intended to improve the efficiency of national duty execution in line with best practices.

This visit underscores the strong fraternal ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Bahrain, demonstrating their shared commitment to enhancing security cooperation and strengthening strategic partnerships. The collaboration aims to serve mutual interests and reinforce institutional integration between the two brotherly countries.
