Baku:Oil prices continued their downward trend for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, following a significant drop in the previous session. Brent futures decreased by 97 cents, or 1.03 percent, reaching $93.65 per barrel as of 0211 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures fell by $1.14, or 1.29 percent, to $86.98 per barrel.
According to Emirates News Agency, both Brent and US West Texas Intermediate benchmarks experienced a decline of over 8 percent in the previous session, marking their lowest settlement levels since August 31.
