Omran Sharaf Meets President of Armenia to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Yerevan: Omran Sharaf, the Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology, held a meeting with Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia, during an official visit aimed at discussing the enhancement of bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

According to Emirates News Agency, Omran Sharaf conveyed greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Khachaturyan. He also expressed their wishes for the progress and prosperity of Armenia's government and its people.

In response, President Khachaturyan sent his greetings to the UAE leaders and wished for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE government and its people. The discussions between the two sides focused on reinforcing bilateral relations, particularly in science and advanced technology, underscoring the importance of ongoing collaboration in these sectors.

President Khachaturyan highlighted Armenia's commitment to enhancing cooperation with the UAE, aiming to advance bilateral relations that serve the mutual interests of both nations and their citizens. Additionally, the meeting addressed regional developments, with President Khachaturyan expressing hope for stability and peace in the region.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Nariman Al Mulla, the UAE Ambassador to Armenia.
