Online Shopping in Korea Sees 2.5% Growth in April Driven by Food Services Demand

Seoul: Online shopping sales in the Republic of Korea increased by 2.5 percent in April compared to the previous year, primarily due to an uptick in demand for food products and related services, recent data revealed.

According to Emirates News Agency, online shopping transactions reached a value of 21.69 trillion won (approximately US$15.73 billion) in April. This marks an increase of 535.2 billion won from the same period last year, as reported by Statistics Korea.
