Vienna: The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is set to unveil the 19th edition of its World Oil Outlook (WOO) at the forthcoming 9th OPEC International Seminar in Vienna, Austria.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event will take place at the Hofburg Palace on Thursday, 10 July 2025. The seminar will commence with opening remarks by Haitham Al Ghais, Secretary General of OPEC. Following the remarks, a panel session featuring management and analysts from the OPEC Secretariat's Research Division will delve into the publication's main findings.
The WOO, first published in 2007, is recognized as one of OPEC's flagship publications. It offers a comprehensive review and analysis of the global oil and energy sectors, assessing various scenarios for their medium- and long-term development. The publication provides insights into essential issues, including supply and demand, investment, policy impacts, sustainable development, and a thorough analysis of the challenges and opportunities within the global oil and energy industries.
