Palestinian President, Dutch PM Discuss Efforts of Halting Israeli Aggression

Ramallah, Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, met on Monday with Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte who is visiting the Palestinian territories.

They discussed the latest developments on the Palestinian stage, along with the ongoing efforts to halt the Israeli aggression on Palestinian people, protect civilians from the scourges of war, importance of delivering emergency relief, as well as medical and food items, in addition to providing water and electricity as soon as possible.

Palestinian President underscored that peace and security are realized through implementation of the two-state solution that includes the entire land of the State of Palestine, including East Jerusalem, Gaza Strip with the necessary recognition of the State of Palestine.

For his part, Prime Minister of the Netherlands affirmed that his country is committed to the two-state solution and continuing work for the sake of realizing peace.
