Qatar grants $15 million to support Lebanese Army fuel needs

Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday met with Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani and Sultan Al-Assiri, Acting Director-General of Qatar Fund for Development, with whom he discussed support for the Lebanese Army. The Qatar Fund announced a $15 million donation to provide fuel for the Army for three months, aimed at strengthening its capacity amid Lebanon's economic challenges.
