Muscat, - The State of Qatar signed two memoranda of understanding (MOU) with the Sultanate of Oman to promote cooperation between the two countries in culture and sports.
This came during the meetings of the 22nd session of the Qatari-Omani Joint Committee in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman from Nov. 1-2.
This strategic partnership paves the way for future cooperation in formulating proposals and contributions between the two parties through an MOU for cooperation in sports and an MOU for cooperation in the field of youth to promote and develop joint cooperation in youth and sports activities and to support activities that enhance youth participation in decision-making and other civic awareness platforms. The MOU also encourage cooperation in preparing sports administrations and leaders, in addition to exchanging experiences and expertise in the two fields.
HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari chaired the Qatari side during the meetings of the 22nd session of the Qatari-Omani Joint Committee, while HE Minister of Finance of the Sultanate of Oman Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi chaired the Omani side.
