Doha: The Qatari Ministry of Defence has announced the successful interception and neutralization of two ballistic missiles that were targeting multiple areas within the country.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Ministry revealed in a statement carried by Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the threat was immediately addressed upon detection, in line with pre-approved operational plans. The statement confirmed that both missiles were intercepted before they could reach Qatari territory.
The Ministry emphasized that the Qatar Armed Forces are fully equipped to protect and defend the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity and are prepared to respond decisively to any external threats.
Additionally, the Ministry urged citizens, residents, and visitors to remain calm, follow instructions from competent security authorities, avoid spreading rumors, and rely only on official statements and information from authorized sources.
