Qatari runner Hatem Hamid qualified for the semi-finals of the 800m race at the World Athletics U20 Championships in the Peruvian capital Lima, with the participation of 1,700 male and female athletes representing 134 countries. Hamid finished the qualifying round in first place his category, achieving a time of 1:49.98 minutes.
