Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 20.85 points at the beginning of Monday’s trading, down by 0.20% to drop to the level of 10,204 points, compared to Sunday’s closing, under pressure from five sectors.
The index saw a decline in the industrial sector by 0.74%, the transportation sector by 0.37%, the real estate sector by 0.36%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.26%, and the telecommunications sector by 0.08%. On the other hand, the index increased in the insurance sector by 0.38%, and the bank and financial services sector by 0.14%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2300 transactions at a value of QR 65.311 million, distributed to 31.191 million shares.
