Abu dhabi: The National Centre of Meteorology has issued a statement indicating that the ongoing rainy weather system will persist across the nation until Friday night. This weather pattern is attributed to a main weather front currently situated over the far western regions, where heavy rainfall has already been recorded in various areas.
According to Emirates News Agency, the NCM highlighted that the impact of this weather system is expected to gradually reach the Emirate of Abu Dhabi between 01:00 and 03:00 A.M on Friday. The effects will also extend to the Emirate of Dubai, the northern coasts, and the southern interior regions, bringing with it heavy rainfall.
Furthermore, the weather system is forecasted to affect the northern and eastern regions, including the Al Ain area, between 04:00 and 05:00 a.m. on Friday, maintaining the pattern of heavy rainfall.
The Centre also noted the possibility of rain clouds forming over scattered areas throughout the country, with rainfall varying from moderate to heavy at times, continuing until Friday night.
