RAK Ruler Attends Candlelight Concert at National Museum

Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the Candlelight musical concert at the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum. The event was organized by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research, in collaboration with the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah. It saw participation from several ambassadors accredited to the UAE and senior officials.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Saud emphasized that arts and music act as a bridge deepening human connection and communication, enhancing dialogue and cultural diversity among nations. He further highlighted how such initiatives inspire future generations to pursue creativity and innovation. H.H. Sheikh Saud also noted the emirate's commitment to supporting artistic endeavors that align with its future vision and aim to convey its message of openness, coexistence, and diversity to the world.

The Candlelight concerts are part of a global series managed by the entertainment company Fever, designed to bring classical music to a broader audience through performances at significant landmarks worldwide, all illuminated by candles. This particular concert featured soprano Ana Kovacevic and Italian pianist Aldo Dotto, who performed selections from renowned operatic and classical works, creating a captivating atmosphere.

Attendees experienced an evening of refined artistic expression within the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum, a key historical and cultural site in the emirate. The museum's setting underscored the depth of Ras Al Khaimah's cultural identity and its role in fostering artistic initiatives that promote diversity and creativity in the community.
