Ras Al Khaimah: In a significant development for Ras Al Khaimah's commercial real estate sector, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and Marjan have announced the appointment of JLL, a global property consultancy, as the exclusive leasing advisor for RAK Central HQ. This flagship office development is part of the RAK Central masterplan and marks a pivotal moment for the emirate's business and tourism landscape. According to Emirates News Agency, this appointment was formalized at an official signing ceremony attended by key stakeholders, including Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ; Abdulla Al Abdouli, CEO of Marjan; and James Allan, CEO of JLL Middle East and Africa (MEA). Ramy Jallad emphasized the strategic significance of this partnership in attracting high-quality, long-term occupiers to Ras Al Khaimah. He highlighted the development's focus on creating a Grade A business environment with smart design and sustainable features tailored to the needs of global companies. RAK Central is strategically located on Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Al Qasimi Street, along the E11 highway. It is designed to be a mixed-use development featuring an integrated work-live-play environment aimed at attracting international businesses and top-tier talent. The development spans over 435,000 square feet, with more than 882,600 square feet of leasable space, including Grade A offices, high-end retail, food and beverage outlets, and premium amenities. RAK Central HQ is poised to become Ras Al Khaimah's largest business hub, anchored by five LEED Gold-certified towers. Construction is expected to be completed by Q4 2026, with a full commercial launch planned for Q1 2027. JLL will oversee the exclusive leasing of all office and retail components, with pre-leasing and tenant engagement already underway. The HQ is designed to attract multinational blue-chip tenants, offering flexible layouts, open-plan workspaces, high ceilings, and cutting-edge infrastructure. Ground-floor retail and food and beverage options will be complemented by land scaped parks, shaded walkways, and outdoor seating areas, creating a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly environment. Arch.
