Rome: Mohammed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, hosted a meeting with Zaake Wanume Kibedi, Ambassador of Uganda to the UAE. Discussions centered on strengthening economic ties between the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with a focus on boosting trade exchange and enhancing investment cooperation.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting highlighted the investment advantages available in both Ras Al Khaimah and Uganda, emphasizing the potential to unlock new opportunities in key sectors. Al Nuaimi confirmed the Chamber's commitment to initiatives supporting the private sector in identifying beneficial investment opportunities globally, with the aim of achieving mutual benefits.
Al Nuaimi underscored Uganda's connection to Ras Al Khaimah's business environment through various partnerships and agreements. He stressed the importance of strengthening partnerships in the small and medium enterprises sector to enhance investment opportunities and improve the business environment.
Ambassador Kibedi expressed satisfaction with the meeting, acknowledging the Chamber's role in managing private sector affairs in Ras Al Khaimah. He reiterated Uganda's interest in expanding trade exchange to serve mutual interests. Kibedi also invited the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and its members to participate in the upcoming UAE-Uganda Business Forum in Kampala.
The meeting, held at the Chamber's headquarters, was attended by Youssef Mohamed Ismail, First Vice Chairman of the Chamber, and Dr. Ahmed Al Shemeili, Director-General of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce.
