Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, welcomed Dr. Etienne Berchtold, the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the UAE, on a farewell visit marking the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting underscored the robust bilateral relations between the UAE and Austria. H.H. Sheikh Saud reaffirmed the shared commitment to enhancing cooperation across various sectors to benefit both nations and their citizens.
H.H. Sheikh Saud commended the ambassador's contributions to strengthening ties between the two countries and extended best wishes for his future pursuits. Dr. Berchtold expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, highlighting the UAE's regional and international stature and the support received during his service.
