Russia thwarts terrorist attack in Western Siberia

MOSCOW: Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) announced today that it has foiled a terrorist attack on an Interior Ministry facility in the Tyumen region of Western Siberia. Two persons were apprehended while plotting to detonate an explosive device at the facility in Tobolsk. Two improvised incendiary devices and a self-made explosive were seized during the raid. The authorities have initiated a follow-up investigation, the FSB said. Source : Emirates News Agency
