Russian air defenses shot down four Ukrainian drones over southwestern Russian provinces, in addition to destroying four drone boats in the Black Sea. Kyiv's forces continue to target the border areas in southwestern Russia with drones and missiles on an almost daily basis. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on Feb. 24, 2022, and it does not appear that it is close to laying down its weapons, in light of Moscow's emphasis on continuing its special operation until its goals are fully achieved.
