Abu dhabi: Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, presided over the sixth ministerial meeting of the International Security Alliance at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. The meeting saw the participation of interior ministers from the member states of the Alliance.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Saif commenced the session by welcoming the ministers to the UAE, a country seen as their second home. He highlighted the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in fostering tolerance as a national value and promoting coexistence to enhance mutual understanding and carry a message of peace globally.
In his address, Sheikh Saif stressed the importance of collective efforts for global security, emphasizing that stability hinges on integration, cooperation, and trust among nations. He conveyed that security is fundamental to sustainable development and that collaboration is essential for a safer, more stable future.
Additionally, Sheikh Saif announced the accession of Brazil to the International Security Alliance, marking a significant development that expands the Alliance's reach and influence. He noted that Brazil's inclusion is a testament to the growing international recognition of the Alliance's vision to unite efforts and promote human security and peace.
