Abu dhabi: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, engaged in bilateral talks with several interior ministers on the sidelines of the 6th ministerial meeting of the International Security Alliance in Abu Dhabi.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions included key figures such as General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa from Bahrain, K. Shanmugam from Singapore, Fernando Grande-Marlaska from Spain, Ferd Grapperhaus from the Netherlands, Mat Utaj E Tok from Slovakia, and Mohamadou Bamba Ciss from Senegal. The main focus was on enhancing cooperation in policing and security, sharing expertise, and tackling mutual security challenges.
The meetings underscored joint efforts to boost international collaboration for peace and stability. The ministers commended the UAE's role in advancing global security cooperation and its commitment to developing innovative police and technological systems that bolster international stability.
They highlighted the importance of the International Security Alliance as a crucial platform for building partnerships, coordinating strategies, and uniting member states' efforts to address global security threats.
