Dubai: Sanad, the global leader in aerospace engineering and leasing solutions, and Strata Manufacturing PJSC (Strata), an advanced aerospace structures manufacturing company, have announced a strategic partnership with Sindan, a UAE-based technology firm specializing in AI-powered additive manufacturing and industrial automation. The collaboration aims to explore and integrate artificial intelligence, robotics, and 3D printing into aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations and manufacturing processes.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Dubai Airshow 2025 by Mansoor Janahi, Managing Director and Group CEO of Sanad, Sara Abdulla AlMemari, Acting CEO of Strata, and Heyuan Huang, Managing Director and CEO of Sindan. The signing ceremony was attended by Ismail Ali Abdullah, Executive Director of UAE Clusters from Mubadala Investment Company, and Amer Siddiqui, Group Chairman of Sanad.
The partnership is set to advance the implementation of AI-enabled automation and advanced manufacturing technologies within the operations of Sanad and Strata. Sindan will play a key role in deploying smart robotics for inspection and material handling, humanoid systems for warehouse organization, and automated racking technologies to optimize inventory management processes.
In addition, Sindan will focus on designing and 3D-printing specialized jigs and fixtures to expedite tooling production and enhance precision in Sanad's MRO facilities and Strata's manufacturing operations. This collaboration leverages Sanad and Strata's four decades of global MRO expertise along with Sindan's advanced manufacturing capabilities, marking a significant step forward in developing smarter, faster, and more sustainable aerospace maintenance solutions.
Mansoor Janahi emphasized that the partnership aligns with Mubadala's commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within its aerospace portfolio. He highlighted the strategic alliances within the Mubadala ecosystem as pivotal in shaping the future of aviation, making it smarter, faster, and more sustainable.
Sara Abdulla Al Memari expressed pride in Strata's role as a leading aerospace manufacturer in the UAE and its collaboration with Sanad and Sindan to integrate smart technologies into production and maintenance. She noted that this partnership enhances precision, productivity, and sustainability, advancing Abu Dhabi's vision to lead in next-generation aviation solutions.
Heyuan Huang of Sindan expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Sanad and Strata to advance aerospace innovation. He highlighted that the partnership brings together three UAE pioneers whose combined expertise will accelerate the application of smart technologies across the aviation value chain, underscoring the UAE's growing influence on the global aerospace landscape.
