Saqr Ghobash meets Speaker of Seychelles’ National Assembly

Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), has met with Roger Mancienne, Speaker of the Seychelles National Assembly, on the sidelines of the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral and parliamentary cooperation between the two friendly nations. Ghabash underscored the UAE and Seychelles' strong bilateral ties, emphasising their strategic and distinguished nature. He highlighted the two countries' leadership and governments' shared commitment to mutual respect and a common vision for promoting international peace and security. He also underlined the importance of bolstering parliamentary diplomacy through the activation of friendship committees and regular coordination meetings during international parliamentary events to discuss matters of mutual priority.
