Saud bin Saqr Strengthens Economic Ties with Japan’s Consul-General and Business Council Delegation

Ras al khaimah: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today welcomed Jun Imanishi, the Consul-General of Japan in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, along with a delegation from the Japanese Business Council, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City. The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and exploring opportunities for business growth in the emirate.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Saud emphasized the importance of openness to global markets and the expansion of international partnerships, highlighting Ras Al Khaimah's commitment to attracting strategic investments that align with its sustainable development plans. He praised the Japanese Business Council for its role in bolstering economic relations and supporting the presence of Japanese companies in Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE.

Sheikh Saud assured that the emirate is dedicated to providing a competitive economic environment for businesses and entrepreneurs. He noted the investment opportunities available across key sectors, aimed at enhancing competitiveness and driving growth. The Ruler also acknowledged the vital role of the private sector in fostering economic and trade collaboration and commended the Japanese Business Council for facilitating communication between investors and government entities.

Jun Imanishi and the delegation expressed their gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Saud for his hospitality and support in fortifying economic ties between Japan and Ras Al Khaimah. They praised the high-quality services and facilities available to Japanese investors and recognized the emirate's rapid economic growth, urban development, and advanced infrastructure. The delegation affirmed that Ras Al Khaimah is now a preferred destination for companies looking to expand in regional markets.
