The Saudi Stock Exchange main index on Monday closed at 11,718.17 points, 29.56 points up from the previous closing. As many as 212 million shares were traded with a trading value of SAR 5.5 billion. The shares of 79 companies rose while 147 others closed lower. A series of wildfires has broken out across parts of the western united states as a result of soaring temperatures:
