Scores of civilians killed in intense Israeli airstrikes in Gaza StripThe President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau arrives in Tripoli on an official visit to Libya.

GAZA: Dozens of civilians today were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes that targeted different areas in the Gaza Strip. As the Israeli aggression enters 145th day, Israeli tanks and its artillery shelling intensified their raids on Gaza City and the Rafah and Khan Yunis governorates, while Israeli artillery continued to bomb residential squares and the vicinity of shelter centers. The Israeli occupation forces blew up residential homes west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with Israeli artillery shelling and raids on various areas of the city, especially the eastern region. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes bombed a residential square in the Al-Amal neighborhood in the center of Khan Yunis. The Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, witnessed artillery shelling and armed clashes. The Palestinian Red Crescent society said that its crews transferred at least 34 people who sustained various injuries as a result of Israeli shelling of two homes yesterday evening in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. The occupation army committed 11 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, killing 96 persons and wounding over 172 during the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll of the Israeli aggression to 29,878 fatalities since last October 7, according to Ministry of Health data. President Omar Al-Mukhtar received an official reception upon his arrival at Mitiga International Airport, where he was welcomed by the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi. The reception ceremony began with the playing of the state anthem of Guinea-Bissau and the national anthem, after which the guest president, accompanied by the President of the Presidential Council, reviewed the queue of honor that was lined up to salute and welcome the visit of the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau. The person in charge of running the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al-Taher Al-Baour, the head of the Libyan Intelligence Service, a number of officials and army officers, and members of the diplomatic corps at the Guinea-Bissau embassy, participated in the reception.
