SEC Discusses New Law Proposal to Set Rules for Court Fees

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired the Council meeting held on Tuesday morning, at the Ruler's Office.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council. The SEC discussed several governmental issues and the emirate's comprehensive development plans aimed at enhancing its position in social, cultural, and economic services, alongside its legislative framework.

In line with completing the legislative structure of the judicial system in Sharjah, the council deliberated on a draft law regulating court fees, directing that it be forwarded to the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) for further discussion and completion of its legislative process.

The council also reviewed the Sharjah Health Authority's response to the SCC's policy recommendations, which stressed the importance of the Consultative Council's input. The response highlighted the authority's commitment to implementing the recommendations.

Additionally, the Executive Council explored proposals to develop procedures related to the economic sector. These proposals aim to enhance the business and investment environment and support small and medium-sized enterprises by streamlining procedures and providing comprehensive proactive services.
