Sharjah: Sheikha Jameela Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), emphasized the importance of comprehensive care for orphans during Ramadan, extending beyond material assistance to include emotional support and the development of confident individuals capable of shaping their future.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikha Jamila Al Qasimi shared her joy in participating in the Ramadan iftar with children and staff, reaffirming the organization's commitment to its humanitarian mission and community presence. She expressed her pleasure in connecting with orphaned children and the staff of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, highlighting the familial spirit that defines their community.
Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation, stated that the foundation aims to ensure children feel supported and engaged in their daily lives through such initiatives, especially during spiritually and socially significant times like Ramadan. She noted that the foundation continues to implement the 'Zakki' campaign during Ramadan, which combines spiritual and social elements to create a lasting positive impact on the lives of orphans and their families beyond the month of Ramadan.
