Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, led the Council meeting at the Ruler's Office. Attended by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, the meeting resulted in significant decisions.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Council approved the organisational structures for the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) and the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority. These structures are designed to align with the respective responsibilities of each authority.
The Council also explored strategies to enhance Sharjah's economy by attracting businesses that incorporate modern technology and provide recreational activities. These initiatives aim to keep pace with rapid changes and modern skills, offering residents enjoyable and engaging experiences.
Additionally, the Council plans to scrutinize new initiatives, collaborating closely with Sharjah's authorities. The focus will be on establishing rules and guidelines to ensure that the activities are beneficial and respect cultural values, while also strengthening family connections within the community.
