Sharjah Executive Council Reviews 2024 Endowment Trusts Account Report

Sharjah: H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired the council's meeting on Tuesday at the Sharjah Ruler's Office. The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council.

According to Emirates News Agency, the council discussed multiple topics concerning the monitoring of government departments' performance and the implementation of Sharjah's public policies and plans. These efforts aim to enhance services across various sectors for communities in the Emirate.

The council reviewed a comprehensive report on the services provided by Sharjah museums, which focus on documenting and conveying historical, cultural, heritage, artistic, and Islamic information. The museums also offer educational and entertaining experiences for all age groups, from children to adults, throughout the cities and regions of the Emirate.

Moreover, the council examined the annual report for the 2024 Endowment Trusts Account, which highlighted achievements and initiatives. The report showed growth in assets, revenues, and donations to endowment projects, and the completion of various projects that underscore endowment as a sustainable developmental tool.

Key figures and statistics from the report were presented, including the income statement for the endowment trust account, wills and endowment deeds, implemented projects during 2024, endowment assets, and the entities benefiting from endowment implementation both domestically and internationally. The report also covered endowment investments.
