Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree that approves the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW). This decree signifies a pivotal step in structuring the department to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness in fulfilling its mandate.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Decree requires the attached general organisational structure of the SDPW to be approved. It further mandates the Sharjah Executive Council to issue decisions necessary for its implementation. These decisions include detailing the organisational structure of the department and approving job descriptions for tasks within the organisational units, in line with their competencies.
Additionally, the Decree allows for the creation, merger, or cancellation of any organisational units under the departments encompassed within the general organisational structure. This flexibility is intended to ensure that the department can adapt its structure to meet evolving needs and priorities effectively.
