Sharjah Ruler Leads Eid Al Fitr Prayer at Sharjah Mosque


Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, performed the Eid Al Fitr prayer on Friday at Sharjah Mosque. This significant religious occasion was marked by the presence of notable figures including H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; and H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.



According to Emirates News Agency, the congregation included Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Finance Department; Sheikh Khaled bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority; Sheikh Dr Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s Office; Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development; Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Districts Affairs Department; Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department; Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Parliament for the Child, along with several other sheikhs and officials from local and federal departments.



The Eid Al Fitr sermon, delivered by Dr Manea Al Nahdi, was titled ‘Our Eid is a Family, a Nation’. During the sermon, he extended congratulations to worshippers on this joyous occasion and expressed hopes for the UAE’s continued security and prosperity. Dr Al Nahdi emphasized the importance of family as the cornerstone of society, highlighting the role of family unity in strengthening the nation under wise leadership.



The sermon also underscored the values of unity, compassion, and shared responsibility among the nation’s people, both citizens and residents. Dr Al Nahdi called for nurturing future generations with faith, knowledge, and morals, while spreading joy during Eid and honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs.



In his concluding prayers, the preacher sought divine blessings for the UAE and its people, wishing for continued security and guidance for the leaders. Following the prayer, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah exchanged Eid greetings with well-wishers, including sheikhs, senior officials, dignitaries, and members of Arab and Islamic communities.
