Sharjah: The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a global humanitarian organisation dedicated to supporting refugees and those in need around the world, has launched its annual 'Back to School' campaign.
According to Emirates Press Agency, the public is invited to the 'Back-to-School' packing event at City Centre Al Zahia from August 21 to August 31. Visitors can purchase a box and personally fill it with essential school supplies, directly connecting with the cause.
The campaign is centered around providing a nurturing and empowering learning environment at 'The Big Heart Educational Center,' established in 2019. Individuals are encouraged to contribute AED200, which provides a complete set of essential school supplies for one student, including a backpack, pencil case, pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners, lined-paper notebooks, and a water bottle.
For those seeking to make a deeper impact, sponsorship options are available. These include supporting a student's educational journey for a month (AED500), an entire year (AED7,000), or sponsoring a full classroom of 15 students for a year (AED105,000). Every contribution directly supports a student's enthusiasm and ability to pursue their education.
Alya Obaid Al Musaiebi, Director of TBHF, emphasized the importance of collective action in making a sustainable difference. She highlighted the community's role in empowering young minds at the Educational Center by providing necessary resources and nurturing environments.
Contributions can be made through The Big Heart Foundation's official website, SMS, YallaGive, bank transfer, or by contacting the Foundation directly.
