Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme Begins Handover of Final Phase of Al Suyoh 16 Community in Sharjah

Sharjah: The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI), represented by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, has commenced the handover of the final phase of homes in the Al Suyoh 16 residential community in Sharjah. This phase includes 380 homes designated for beneficiaries, aligning with the UAE's efforts to enhance housing stability and improve quality of life, supporting the "Year of the Family" objectives and the leadership's vision of fostering a cohesive and sustainable society.

According to Emirates News Agency, the Al Suyoh community project is an integral part of the ministry's national housing initiatives, aimed at creating a modern residential environment that supports the stability of Emirati families. The project emphasizes the development of integrated residential neighborhoods that adhere to the highest standards of urban planning, infrastructure, and public services, accommodating the country's population growth and urban expansion.

Eng. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs at MoEI, highlighted that national housing projects are essential to the UAE's comprehensive development strategy, given their role in promoting family stability and enhancing quality of life. He stated that the UAE is committed to developing residential communities that meet citizens' aspirations and support family stability, underscoring the approach of prioritizing people and considering housing as a fundamental element in building a cohesive society.

Al Mansoori further explained that Al Suyoh 16 epitomizes the UAE's focus on developing an advanced housing ecosystem based on sustainable urban planning, integrating services and infrastructure to support citizens' well-being and address future urban and population growth needs. He also noted that the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme remains committed to developing a flexible housing system aimed at expediting the delivery of housing services and enhancing service efficiency to boost housing stability for citizens.

He emphasized that the final phase handover at Al Suyoh 16 is a part of the programme's continuous efforts to provide modern homes with integrated facilities and infrastructure that cater to the aspirations of Emirati families, fostering a stable residential environment that supports quality of life and strengthens social stability.
