Dubai: SonicWall, a global leader in managed cybersecurity solutions, and Digital Planets, a subsidiary of DP Group known for integrated digital solutions and services, have signed a strategic partnership agreement. This collaboration aims to bolster digital defence capabilities across the Middle Eastern markets.
According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership designates Digital Planets as a SonicWall Gold Partner, enabling the provision of advanced cybersecurity solutions across the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The agreement was finalized at GITEX Global 2025, the world's largest technology event, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre with participation from over 6,800 technology companies.
By joining SonicWall's SecureFirst Partner Program, Digital Planets enhances its cybersecurity portfolio. The partnership allows clients to access award-winning solutions in advanced protection, smart monitoring, and predictive threat defence. Dr. Ahmed Hanafy, Founder and CEO of DP Group, highlighted that the partnership is a strategic milestone aligned with their vision of empowering secure digital transformation for clients in the region.
Dr. Hanafy emphasized the importance of integrating SonicWall's solutions with regional expertise to deliver comprehensive security offerings that ensure cyber resilience for organizations in Egypt, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. This partnership aims to protect vital digital assets while addressing real-life challenges in cybersecurity.
Mohamed Abdallah, Regional Director for Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (META) at SonicWall, commented on the partnership's alignment with SonicWall's commitment to supporting regional partners.
