Southern Ethiopia landslides kills 55

ADDIS ABABA: At least 55 were killed on Monday in landslides that occurred in southern Ethiopia, a local official said. According to Dagmawi Zerihun, chief of the Gofa Zone in southern Ethiopia, more than 55 bodies have been recovered following the landslides caused by heavy rains, with the death toll expected to be higher.
