SPEAKER BERRI DISCUSSES REGIONAL TENSIONS WITH RUSSIAN ENVOY

House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Friday welcomed Vladimir Safronkov, the special envoy of the Russian Foreign Minister for Middle Eastern Affairs, along with his accompanying delegation at the second presidential headquarters in Ain el-Tineh. The meeting was attended by Berri's media advisor, Ali Hamdan. Discussions reportedly focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, particularly in light of Israel's ongoing aggression against Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
