Strong Interest in UAE Pavilion at China’s Global Digital Trade Expo

Abu dhabi: The UAE Pavilion at the Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou, China, has attracted significant interest from international companies, investors, and visitors, highlighting the nation's advanced capabilities as a digital trade hub. Khalifa Al Jaziri, Director of the Commercial Registration and Agencies Department at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, emphasized the UAE's strategic advantages, including high-speed internet, 5G networks, and advanced delivery systems that enable product delivery within 30 minutes, making it an appealing market for global firms via digital platforms.

According to Emirates News Agency, Al Jaziri stated that the UAE's participation in the expo is not solely focused on attracting foreign businesses but also on supporting national companies in expanding their reach internationally, including into China and the 56 other countries participating in the event. This initiative underscores the UAE's commitment to facilitating mutual growth opportunities in the realm of digital commerce.

Al Jaziri further noted that the expo serves as a critical platform for entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises, providing them the opportunity to learn from global products and tailor these innovations to local needs. This approach is intended to bolster the UAE's standing in both regional and global digital commerce markets.

He concluded by expressing optimism about the future of the digital trade sector, which is buoyed by flexible regulations, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a vibrant business environment designed to nurture international collaborations.
